In order to create local jobs and industries, there is a recognised need for improved and expanded support across the entire innovation ecosystem.
This includes:
- educational programs for entrepreneurs and founders
- educational programs for investors
- broad ecosystem support in the regions
Funded under the New Industries Fund, the X-TEND WA grants program is designed to build capability within our innovation community by funding education programs supporting innovators and investors, as well as encouraging programs and initiatives that particularly focus on regional, Indigenous and female founders. The fund will co-contribute up to $100,000 per successful application.
Cut-off date:
Although the X-TEND grant program is open all year round, there are various ‘cut-off dates’ when the latest submissions will be downloaded, and then assessed.
Submitted applications cannot be changed after this date. If your application is not ready for assessment, simply continue working on it, without pressing ‘submit’.
The ‘cut-off date’ for round 7 submissions is:
- 11am (AWST), Friday 30 August 2024
Further ‘cut off dates’ will be announced for the 2025 financial year.
